Biography

Neil is a senior researcher at The Work Foundation where he works primarily on issues around cities in the knowledge economy. His research interests include cities, economic growth, innovation and inequality, and social exclusion.

Before joining The Work Foundation, Neil worked for a regeneration consultancy in Hackney, conducting research in deprived areas of London.
He has an MSc in Local Economic Development and an MSc in Research Methods from the London School of Economics. He is currently working towards a PhD on inequality and economic change in European Cities.
