Abstract

Discusses the United Kingdom government's strategy on health and work, and contends that it lacks cohesion and will have little impact on the real issues affecting health and productivity. Highlights the link between healthy workplaces and economic performance, suggesting too many people are still employed in jobs that cause both ill health and lead to poor productivity.
